Official Statement by our Leadership Team
Dear New Life Church Family,
We are committed to serving you during these unconventional times with complete honesty and transparency. We were hopeful, that despite the spread of the coronavirus, our church family would mostly avoid being affected by Covid-19. However, with a congregation as large as ours is, we were also prepared to take steps in case positive cases did occur.
We do want to inform you that last week we learned that a few of our church members tested positive for Covid-19 and were safely quarantined out of precaution. Thankfully, this was not sourced to any congregational worship services, however out of full transparency we do want to make you aware.
We are also thankful to inform you that our church members are recovering and we continue to stand in faith for their full healing. We have taken and continue to take the appropriate steps to ensure our congregation can worship as safe as possible at New Life Church.
We made you two promises when we reopened for in-person worship back in May. First, we promised to guide you through this season in faith. That includes being honest about what we face as a church community together. Second, we promised to remain open for worship. We believe that worship is essential, and we have seen the consequences of what can happen when the church doors are shut.
Remember, faith over fear!
If you have any concerns about in-person worship, please join us online for virtual worship at live.nlcwv.com or through our Facebook Live. If you plan on attending in person this Sunday, we ask that you please follow guidelines of social distancing, hand washing and face covering.
We look forward to worshipping with you this Sunday either online or in-person at 9am & 11am.
