VISION Sunday: Looking Ahead Together
New Life Church Family,
Thank you for making Super Vision Sunday so wonderful and leaning in as we shared where we believe God is leading us next. The initial feedback has been excellent. I want to follow up with a simple recap so we can move forward together with excitement.
First, we will continue to emphasize spiritual depth. Our discipleship model continues to be Gatherings, Community, and now a new area called Courses. Weekend services inspire us. Community groups connect us. Courses will ground us in biblical foundations and deeper teaching. Courses will officially launch in March, and we’re excited about what that will mean for spiritual growth across our church.
Second, we are launching a new young adult ministry called The Upper Room. This will focus on college students and 20-somethings and will meet on Sunday nights beginning next month. We believe investing intentionally in the next generation is vital for the future of our church and our region.
Third, we are preparing to multiply. In 2027, we will launch our first church campus, heading north into Ohio. This is a big step of faith and an important next step as we continue to grow. Healthy things grow!
To support this growth, we are beginning a three-phase facility plan. Phase 1 will focus on exterior updates. Phase 2 will address parking lot improvements. Phase 3 will include a new two-story addition. We will also invest in updates to our recreation center, including the kitchen and overall facility improvements. These updates position us for the future and help us steward what God has already given us.
Finally, we are close to launching Rosa’s Room during the 9am service. This new sensory space is designed to serve families with children who have special needs. We want every family to feel seen, supported, and welcomed here.
Here’s what you can do right now:
Pray. Ask God where He wants you to engage in this next season.
Promote. This vision becomes reality as each of us says yes to our part.
Participate. Take a next step. Join a Course when they launch. Invite a young adult to The Upper Room. Get connected in Community if you’re not already.
Look Ahead - Take Action - Trust God - Build!
This season is about building depth, reaching the next generation, and preparing for multiplication. Thank you for being part of what God is doing. The best days are ahead, and we move forward together.
